Nick Yi (he/him) is an Asian-American actor and filmmaker from Edmonds, Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Screen Arts from Pepperdine University, Summa Cum Laude. As an undergraduate, Nick received a National Science Foundation research grant to edit/1st AC "INTERTIDAL", a documentary short on algae research in Hawai'i; "INTERTIDAL" was accepted into the Honolulu International Film Festival in Dec. 2025.
Nick has directed eight short films, including BIRD (Winner: Audience Choice, Best Acting at ReelStories '26) and UNDEFEATED (Official Selection: Reel Stories '25, Wolverine Con '25, Indiewood '25). Some of Nick's most notable roles include The Beast in "Beauty and the Beast", Valjean Understudy in "Les Mis", Protagonist in "MIMICRY" (Cabal Video).
He is also a digital content creator and streamer on YouTube and Twitch.
